Maryland Hill Riders is a local society of strong positive men and women from different walks of life with a common interest - motorcycles. The mission of the club is to promote safe and entertaining ridership while demonstrating the positive aspects of motorcycling to the general public. Using community involvement to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate in our community. In addition, MHR hopes to promote unity amongst motorcycle riders in the Washington Metropolitan Area while enhancing relationships with motorcycle riders nationally.
The Maryland Hill Riders bylaws (hereinafter to be referred to as the "bylaws"), serve to function as the rules and regulations for operating and maintaining the Maryland Hill Riders motorcycle club. Maryland Hill Riders shall use these bylaws as reference and guidelines. The bylaws are to be maintained by the Secretary and/or any other member of the Executive Board of the Maryland Hill Riders motorcycle club. the Maryland Hill Riders motorcycle club members are hereinafter to be referred to as "the member body"
The full name of this organization (hereinafter to be referred to as the "club" or "MHR"). The approved and legal acronym for the club will be "MHR" only. No other name(s) or abbreviations shall be used.
AUTHORITY AND DUTIES
The Executive Board of the Maryland Hill Riders motorcycle club is composed or the following officers: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Sergeant-At-Arms, Road Captain, and Public Relations Officer. The additional positions of committee chairs shall be picked by the exclusive board.
